Reporting the Headlines

Since joining my campus newspaper's editorial board, I've had my ears tuned in to the communities' stories. I've reported on many events that matter to the University of Wisconsin—Stout campus. From local entertainment to tech news, I am no stranger to researching and learning new topics quickly. I've conducted hundreds of interviews with community members and experts alike to nail down the best angle for a story.

It's the interviewers job to make people comfortable and have the conversations that uncover the most to every story. I never know what I'll learn, and that excitement to learn keeps me and my audience interested and engaged. I've won two Wisconsin Newspaper Association awards for Best Entertainment Story in my time reporting for the Stoutonia.
